Standard Chartered Bank launches co-branded credit cards with Grameenphone in Bangladesh

Standard Chartered Bank has recently launched co-branded credit cards with Grameenphone Ltd. This co-branded credit card is the first of its kind between the largest foreign bank and the largest mobile phone operator in Bangladesh.  Two variants of the credit card have been launched – Signature Star and Platinum Star Credit Card, targeted to Platinum Plus and Platinum Star postpaid customers of Grameenphone Ltd. respectively.

The STAR program of Grameenphone Ltd is offering a bucket full of surprise, engagement, and privileges from the last couple of years to its high-value loyal customers. This strategic alliance is in line with Grameenphone Ltd’s continuous efforts to reward its best customers and win loyalty through pioneering benefit offerings.

Grameenphone Platinum Plus and Platinum Star postpaid customers availing this credit card will be able to enjoy special benefits like accelerated reward points, free access to Balaka Executive Lounge at Dhaka International Airport, and Priority Pass airport lounges worldwide, Buy 1 Get 1 Free buffet fine dining offers at leading hotels in the country, no call barred on the Grameenphone mobile connection through activating auto debit, exclusive gifts with purchase of handsets from Grameenphone Ltd., along with a winning combination of value-packed features and benefits.
