To make any website more accessible, Opera has introduced ‘Add to home screen’ feature in the Opera Mini browser. This enables users to bookmark any page from ekhanei.com directly to the home screen of their smartphone. Users can now open a particular page of the site without opening Opera app first and typing the page URL. Ekhanei.com users can now add any account or message page to their mobile desktop and access it anytime from the Opera Mini browser.

“Internet penetration in Bangladesh is consistently increasing, and users coming online via mobile devices are driving this growth. These users are doing a lot more with their smartphones. Indulging in e-commerce is a natural progression from browsing and social networking,” says Sunil Kamath, Vice President, South Asia & Southeast Asia at Opera.

“We are happy to support Ekhanei.com and its community of buyers and sellers across Bangladesh. I am confident that users will make the most out of this easy access to Ekhanei.com from Opera Mini.”

The new mobile website lets Ekhanei.com users exchange messages via chatting. A prospective buyer and seller will be able to exchange messages before trading an item. The buyer will be able to ask questions, which the seller will be able to answer when they log in to their Ekhanei.com account. The feature removes the need for exchanging personal contact details during initial communication.

The new verification feature ensures that all Ekhanei.com accounts are owned by real people with verified identity, which contributes to building trust among buyers and sellers. Before being posted on the Ekhanei.com site, all ads are reviewed by an expert team of moderators, which ensures high quality of ads available on the website.
