airBaltic launches direct flights from Zurich to Usedom Island

The Latvian airline airBaltic on May, 2016, launched a new direct route between Zurich and the sunny German Island of Usedom in the Baltic Sea.

Wolfgang Reuss, SVP of Network Management of airBaltic: “The new route complements our existing services from Dortmund and Frankfurt to Heringsdorf. In collaboration with our partners, we are delighted to offer this popular summer holiday destination.”

airBaltic flies once a week from Zurich to Heringsdorf, Usedom Island using Bombardier Q400NextGen aircraft. A check-in fee will not apply on these flights, and passengers will be offered a complimentary drink, such as water/tea/coffee, and a snack while on board.
