Travelling tennis fans are being served up the latest Wimbledon results thanks to a daily update on British Airways’ long-haul flights. The special arrangement has been made to make sure highlights from the 2016 Championships are made available every day on the airline’s long-haul departures to scores of destinations around the world.

The special update TV programme, Wimbledon 2016 Daily Highlights, brings the best of the previous day’s results, courtside gossip, insider information and player interviews to avid fans. Troy Warfield, British Airways’ director of customer experience, said: “Tennis tournament’s don’t come any bigger or better than The Championships, Wimbledon, so we know many of our customers don’t want to miss the results of any of the top games.

“That’s why we’ve set out to make sure the daily results are made available on all of our High Life in-flight entertainment system to deliver the results of all of the most important matches.” Flyers with British Airways on long-haul flights also have free access to over 1,300 hours of films, top TV shows and audio programmes via their personal seatback screen. This includes the very latest Hollywood blockbusters, TV box sets and music provided by British Airways’ High Life entertainment
