Monash College CEO visits Universal College Bangladesh (UCB), exchanges views

Jo Mithen, the CEO and Executive Director of Monash College, Australia, paid a visit to Universal College Bangladesh (UCB), an STS Group entity providing world-class education in Bangladesh. Students, teachers and professionals from various fields got the opportunity to meet and engage in a conversation with the CEO on “Australian Education Opportunity for Bangladeshi Students.” Professor Matthew Nicholson, Interim Pro Vice-Chancellor & President, Monash University Malaysia also paid a visit to UCB’s campus.

In recent times, Australia has been the most preferred country for international education for Bangladeshi students. Due to top-notch education, cutting-edge technology, great culture and quality work opportunities, students are now very eager to obtain Australian degrees. The CEO and Executive Director of Monash College, Australia, Jo Mithen’s visit to Universal College Bangladesh, gave students the golden opportunity to learn about Australian education in depth!

During the visit, a seminar was held where Jo Mithen, CEO and Executive Director of Monash College, Australia, and Professor Matthew Nicholson, Interim Pro Vice-Chancellor & President, Monash University Malaysia, were present. Besides, Prof. Hew Gill, Vice-Chancellor, Universal College Bangladesh and Manas Singh, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), STS Group graced the seminar with their presence. In addition, high officials from Monash College Australia, STS Board Members & Senior Management, school principals, various student recruitment agency heads, prominent O & A level teachers and students were also present. Moreover, on behalf of Monash College, Hamed Moradi, Director, Business; Jennifer Coster, Director, English and International Partnerships; and Suyi Xie, Manager of Partnerships & Development, were present at the seminar.

At the seminar, Manas Singh gave a welcome speech, followed by the speech of special guest Professor Matthew Nicholson, Interim Pro Vice-Chancellor & President, Monash University Malaysia. Jo Mithen, as the chief guest, also delivered a speech at the seminar. Participants of the event asked queries and conversed about employability, ranking and entry requirements to Monash.
