ISD to host Badminton Training with the former world’s no 1: Chan Chong Ming

International School Dhaka (ISD) is all set to host a Badminton Training with the three-time gold medalist at Commonwealth Games and former world’s number-one player, Chan Chong Ming. Offering a one-of-a-kind opportunity, ISD’s Badminton training will run from February 26 to March 2 (4:30 pm-6:30 pm) for students from different schools and February 27 and March 1 (7 pm – 9 pm) for interested adult badminton enthusiasts.

ISD – Badminton Training comes as a golden opportunity for all students and adults to improve their core badminton skills alongside Chan Chong Ming. The Badminton Camp for students will take place in five sessions for children between the ages of five to eighteen. With a fee of BDT 15,000 per student, students from any school can now get the best hands-on badminton training at the ISD campus. Meanwhile, the training for adults will take place in two sessions, and any person interested in badminton can join with a fee of BDT 10,000 per participant.

It is mentionable that Chan Chong Ming qualified for the Athens Olympic Games 2004 and 4 World Championships, with his highest career ranking being the world’s number-one player. He has won 3 gold medals at the Commonwealth Games throughout his career and emerged as World Junior Champion thrice. He is also a certified coach trained by the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM). ISD’s A training under him brings a fantastic prospect for children and adults who want to get proper badminton skills from the best!

All the training sessions will take place at the ISD gymnasium. The last date for registration is February 23, 2023; spots will be booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
