Jeremy Renner reveals he broke over 30 bones in snow plow accident

Jeremy Renner confessed that he shattered over 30 bones in a serious snow plow incident while posting a photo from his therapy session. The Marvel actor updated his followers on Instagram on Saturday with a health update.

Posting a photo of himself at home stretching his legs with a comment, “Resolutions and early morning workouts have both changed this particular New Year’s. sprang out of the sorrow that befell my entire family and was soon centered on bringing people together in love.”

He expressed his gratitude to everyone for their support, love, and blessings. Renner also discussed his recovery from breaking almost 30 bones.

“I want to thank EVERYONE for their messages and thoughtfulness for my family and I …. Much love and appreciation to you all. These 30-plus broken bones will mend, and grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens. Love and blessings to you all,” he added.

Renner tried to assist in freeing a family member’s automobile that was trapped in the snow on January 1st, according to a US news source. He was struck by the actor’s snow plow and suffered serious injuries.

Renner needed two surgeries the following day after suffering orthopedic issues from a blow to the chest. The actor utilized a massive snow plow called a PistenBully or Sno-Cat that must have weighed at least 14,330 pounds.

In a statement to the press on 2 January as quoted in a report, Renner’s family said they “would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve and the Carano and Murdock families.”

The family added they were “tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from [Renner’s] fans.”
