Bangla Tigers has announced they Bangla Tigers have named Shakib Al Hasan, the face of the Bangladesh National Team, as the Icon player and captain for the forthcoming season of the Abu Dhabi T10 Cricket League 2022-23, which will begin in November 2022.
Shakib Al Hasan declared after signing the contract, “I am thrilled to join the Bangla Tigers for my debut season in the newest format of cricket. I enjoy taking on new challenges, and this competition presents me with one. I hope to overcome this obstacle and write a new chapter in the history of the Bangla tigers.
Shakib al Hasan is undoubtedly the biggest blessing of the Bangladesh National Team. When the annals of Bangladesh cricket are sifted by future generations, Shakib Al Hasan will emerge and re-emerge as the greatest cricketer of its first two decades. As a bowler, Shakib is accurate, consistent and canny; aggression and a wide range of strokes are the keys to his batting. Even more importantly, he has self-belief and an excellent temperament, unflustered by the big occasion and ready to do battle against the top teams. Shakib Al Hasan is a rarest all-rounder who acts as the strike bowler and strikes batsman for his team.

We were keen to include him in the squad from our very 1st mission but due to the intense busy schedule of the national team, we weren’t able to pick him. He is a dynamic, experienced, dedicated, passionate and motivational player and captain as well, who will lead the cricketers with the fighting spirit and be able to maintain a positive approach even at the crucial stage of the game.
