A textile chemical business will be established in the Ishwardi Export Processing Zone by M/s. Lynpers Chemical Industries Ltd., a Bangladeshi enterprise (IEPZ). To make 9 million kg of textile auxiliary chemical products per year, including green acid, wetting & detergent, green soda, cotton leveling, polyester leveling, softener, silicon, fixing, wash off, stabilizer, and semestering, they will invest US$ 5.7 million. In this plant, 121 citizens of Bangladesh would get employment opportunities.
On August 3, 2022, at the BEPZA Complex in Dhaka, Lynpers Chemical Industries Ltd. and the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) inked a contract to this effect.
The agreement was signed by Md. Rofiqul Islam Mondal, Chairman of Lynpers Chemical Industries Ltd., and Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA Ali Reza Mazid. The signing event was observed by Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman, ndc, psc, Executive Chairman of BEPZA.
