Members of Huawei’s board of directors resign in protest of the company’s silence on Ukraine

Two Huawei UK non-executive directors have resigned in protest of the company’s stance on the Ukraine war.

Sir Andrew Cahn and Sir Ken Olisa, according to the BBC, thought their positions had become untenable as a result of the firm’s unwillingness to promptly condemn the Russian invasion.

Huawei UK expressed gratitude to both men for their “invaluable advice.”

“We are not commenting any further,” Huawei told BBC News when asked if it will continue to do business with Russia.
