ZEE5 Global releases trailer of Bangladeshi Drama ‘The Broker’

ZEE5 Global, the world’s largest OTT platform for South Asian content, has announced the launch of two exclusive Bangla dramas.

‘The Broker’ with much acclaimed actor Mosharraf Karim and popular television actor Nazia Haque Orsha in the lead will launch on 1st October. The OTT platform has also dropped the trailer for the original drama.

A story about a broker whose life is turned upside down when his daughter is diagnosed with a rare heart disease, ‘The Broker’ brings out the ethical dilemma we’re sometimes faced with in dire situations, and the consequences of the choices we make.

Also coming up in October is another drama, ‘HereyJabarGolpo’, starring ShamolMowla, Maria Noor and SaberiAlam, a story about loss and the value of life.

In addition to strengthening ZEE5’s local content focus, these two exclusive dramas will also give a global platform to local production houses and talent in Bangladesh.

Mosharraf Karim said, “I generally don’t comment on my work as I think that my work will speak for itself, but I saw the trailer of The Broker and I’m really happy with the way this has come out. It is a gripping story about the choices one is forced to make and the consequences, and I’m sure it will be lover by viewers in Bangladesh and across the world.”

Nazia Haque Orsha said, “I loved the story of ‘The Broker’ and am very happy to have been a part of it. This is my first project with ZEE5 and I’m very excited that Bangladeshi audiences not only here but in other countries also will get to watch this beautiful story.”
