On September 10th, there will be a dental college admissions test

The dental college admission test for the 2020-21 academic sessions, which has been clouded by the Covid-19 pandemic for some time, is set to take place on September 10.

On Sunday, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) released a media statement signed by its Director of Medical Education, Dr AKM Ahsan Habib.

It stated that students will be able to pick up their test admit cards from September 6 to 9.

In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the medical or MBBS admission test for the 2020-2021 academic year was held on April 2 at 19 locations across the country.

The findings were released on April 4th. A writ petition was recently filed against the results, alleging that they were riddled with errors and major inconsistencies.

On Sunday, a High Court bench heard the petition and issued a rule in which it asked the authorities why the published results should not be declared invalid and why the test question papers and answer sheets should not be submitted to the court.

A total of 48,975 applicants passed the MBBS entrance exam, with the top 4,350 candidates on the merit list being chosen for the 2020-2021 academic year. The pass rate among test takers was 39.86 percent.

According to the DGHS, there were a total of 10,697 seats available, with 4,350 seats available at 37 public medical colleges and 6,347 seats available at 70 private medical colleges.
