Bangladesh Govt extends closure of educational institutions till July 31

The ongoing holidays of all secondary and higher secondary level educational institutions of the country including Ibtedai and Qawmi Madrasas have been extended till July 31.

This was informed in a notification sent from the Ministry of Education today.

The notification said that as the coronavirus cases are on the rise and the situation across the country has deteriorated, all educational institutions in the country would remain closed for the sake of the health and overall safety of students, teachers, staff and parents.

In consultation with the National Advisory Committee on Covid 19, the ongoing holidays of all secondary and higher secondary level educational institutions and Ebtedai and Qawmi Madrasas in the country have been extended till July 31, it added.
