Hamas warns traitors for establishing relations with Israel

Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas and former prime minister, has said that history will not forgive Arab countries that have betrayed the Palestinian people and established relations with Israel. He made the remarks in an interview with Middleeast I on Tuesday (October 13th).

Ismail Haniya once again strongly condemned the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain for normalizing relations with Tel Aviv. He said that the Arab countries which have joined hands with the occupying power must be defeated because the occupying Israel will not leave them either.

The Hamas leader said the Zionists’ long-term plans were based on expansionist sentiments. They want to establish a greater Israel in the Middle East. We do not want to see the UAE, Bahrain or the Sudanese as a tool to implement this expansionist plan. History will not forgive them, their people will not forgive them and they will not be forgiven under humanitarian law.

On September 15, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain signed a so-called peace agreement mediated by the United States to normalize relations with Zionist Israel. The Palestinian people and leaders of various organizations have called the agreement to normalize relations between Israel and the Arab world a betrayal of the Palestinians.
