Maduro’s son will take part in the Russian vaccine trial

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has said his son will take part in a trial of a Russian-made Sputnik-5 coronavirus vaccine.

Maduro said this on Sunday. The news agency AFP reported this information.

Russia has vaccinated Venezuela with the first batch of corona. The vaccine arrived in Venezuela last Friday.

The Venezuelan government says about 2,000 citizens of the country will take part in a clinical trial of the vaccine.

Venezuelan President Maduro said: “My son Nicola Ernesto Maduro Guerra has told me he will take part in the Russian Ticker Trials. I think that’s a good decision. ”

Nicola Ernesto Maduro Guerra, 30, is also involved in politics. He is a member of his father’s ruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).

President Maduro’s sister is also volunteering for a Russian vaccine trial in Venezuela. President Maduro has thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin for providing the vaccine to Venezuela. Putin is known as a close ally of Maduro.
