Saudi Arabia announces to open partial international flights

Partial international flights are starting in Saudi Arabia. According to the state news agency on Sunday, the airline will start operating on September 15.

In the first phase, government and military officials, diplomats and their families will get travel facilities. Also on the list are those working abroad, businessmen, patients in need of emergency treatment, students studying abroad, and sports members.

However, tourists and citizens of GCC countries must prove that the corona is negative when it comes to Saudi entry. After January 1, 2021, Saudi Arabia will completely lift its travel ban on water, land and air travel.

Saudi Arabia suspended all international flights in March to prevent coronavirus infections. More than 4,000 people have died in the country.
