Bangladeshi actor KS Firoz dies

Renowned Bangladeshi actor KS Firoz has died today at 6:20 AM. He was undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka for pneumonia.

He died with coronavirus like symptoms including fever and breathing difficulties, reports Bangla Tribune.

He left behind his wife, three daughters and a host of relatives and wellwishers to mourn his death.

Apart from acting in Bangla Drama, he was renowned for acting in Bangla movies too. He started his acting career from stage. His first TV drama was “Dip tobuo jole”.

KS Firoz was born in Barisal. In 1967, he joined Pakistan Military Academy and was trained in Kakul Abbottabad, Pakistan. Following the training, in 1968, he got commissioned in the Army. After the liberation war, he got commissioned in Bangladesh Army. In 1977, he retired from the Army as a Major.
