MoU signed between Energypac Power Generation Ltd and Padma Oil Company

In an attempt to extend their venture, Padma Oil Company Ltd, a subsidiary of Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation, has recently initiated to sell liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to over seven hundred registered filling stations.

A signing ceremony has been held this Tuesday between Energypac Power Generation and Padma Oil Company Ltd, under which Energypac Power Generation will be supplying LPG autogas and will construct autogas stations at filling stations registered with Padma Oil Company Ltd.

Mr. MD Masudur Rahman, Managing Director of Padma Oil Company Ltd and Mr. Humayun Rashid, Managing Director of Energypac Power Generation signed the contract on behalf of the their organizations at the ceremony that was held at the Padma Oil Company Ltd office in 7-9 Karwan Bazar, BTMC Bhaban.

Mr. Sohel Abdullah, Deputy General Manager (Sales); Mr. Numan Ahmad Tapadar, Deputy General Manager, Dhaka; and Mr. MD Ahmadullah, Deputy Manager and PS to Chairman, Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation were present at the signing event on behalf of Padma Oil Company Ltd. Mr. Abu Sayeed Raja, General Manager and Head of Business, G-Gas LPG; Mr. Sheikh Naweed Rashid, Head of Strategic Portfolio Management; and Mr. MD. Mahbubul Islam Khan, Senior Manager were present on behalf of Energypac Power Generation Ltd.

Autogas is a liquified petroleum gas (LPG) which is largely used and acknowledged across the world as transportation fuel. Now it is being popularized in Bangladesh as the safest and most eco-friendly fuel. The Government of Bangladesh has been vastly encouraging its citizens to increase the use of this efficient fuel.
