One million people have quit smoking globally in Corona time

In the current state of the coronavirus epidemic, one million people worldwide have given up smoking. The data came from a study by a charity called Action on Smoking and Health.

Among who quit smoking during the four months of the coronary period, 41 percent quit because of the coronavirus, the agency said.

According to University College London, from 2008 to June 2020, this year saw the highest number of people quitting smoking.
