Italy did not allowed Bangladeshi passengers to enter the country

125 Bangladeshis going to Italy on a Qatar Airways flight are being sent back on the same plane without being allowed to get off the plane. The plane landed at Fiumicino Airport around 1 pm local time on Wednesday (July 8).

According to a report in the online edition of the Italian national daily Il Mesajzero, Bangladeshi passengers on the plane were not allowed to enter Italy. They are being sent back to Qatar.

Earlier on Monday, the Italian authorities detected the presence of coronavirus in the bodies of passengers from Bangladesh. The country’s health ministry then canceled all flights from Bangladesh for a week.

However, even though the flight with Bangladesh was canceled, the flight with Qatar is still running. As such, there was no obstacle for Bangladeshi passengers to enter Italy on the flight from Doha, the capital of Qatar. But they were sent back without being allowed to enter the country.

According to the Italian Interior Ministry, the 125 Bangladeshis will not be able to enter Italy. They will not even be allowed to get off the plane. Only passengers in need of emergency medical care can get off. The plane was supposed to send them back in the afternoon local time.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, some Italian national dailies published news about the fake corona test of the Regent Hospital of Bangladesh. The headline on the front page of the print edition of the daily Il Mesajzero said, ‘Fake Corona Certificates are sold in Bangladesh!
