Decathlon delivered 15,000 masks to Bangladesh Army as donation

Decathlon Sports Bangladesh donated 15,000 pieces of non-surgical fabric masks to Bangladesh Army. Decathlon representatives handed over the masks in Army Headquarters Medical Directorate, Dhaka Cantonment.

The Director of Medical Services (Army), Brigadier General Md Zakir Hassan (MBBS, MPH, MMEd), and the Commanding Officer of the Armed Forces Medical Store Depot, Lieutenant Colonel A K M Mashiul Munir (SUP, MBBS, MPH, MDM, MPhil) have received the donation in person, today.

For the past few days, Decathlon Bangladesh is distributing masks to the fighters who are working in the front line in the midst of the Corona situation in Bangladesh. Which will make their work a little more secure. Earlier, Decathlon distributed masks for the safety of employees of two both City Corporations in Dhaka. Along with DNCC & DSCC, Decathlon Bangladesh has already provided masks for Industrial Police and Bangladesh Administrative Service Association.

In this context, today Decathlon Sports Bangladesh has donated this masks for the Bangladesh Army.

Decathlon also thanked the Bangladesh Army frontline workers by saying, “We thank all staff of the Bangladesh Armed Forces for their service and for keeping us safe during these difficult times!”

Decathlon is a French sporting goods retailer company. With over 1,500 stores in 49 countries, it is the largest sporting goods retailer in the world. Decathlon opened the store in Bangladesh and started operating on July 12, 2019.
