Gonoshasthaya Kendra claimed to improve the rapid corona test kit

Gonoshasthaya Kendra has demanded to improve the quality of their own kits. On Sunday (July 5) at noon, the company’s delegation went to the Department of Drug Administration in the capital to apply for the improvement of the kit. However, the Department of Drug Administration says it has not been able to provide scientific evidence.

After 15 days, Gonoshasthaya Kendra has applied to the Department of Drug Administration demanding improvement of the kit. According to the US FDA Umbrella Guidelines, the kit needs to have at least 90 percent antibody sensitivity. In contrast to public health claims, the antibody sensitivity of their kits has increased to 97.7 percent.

Meanwhile, the Department of Drug Administration says that although the company has applied for the improvement of the kit, it has not been able to provide any data to increase the antibody sensitivity of the kit.
