Decathlon donated facial protective masks to DNCC and Police

Decathlon Sports Bangladesh has provided face masks to those who are working on the front line to Control COVID-19 situation in Bangladesh.

Decathlon Sports Bangladesh has donated more than 25,000 non-surgical face masks to Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and to the Industrial Police Headquarters in Uttara, Dhaka.

“We hope these masks will contribute to more safety, not only during these testing times.,” Decathlon Bangladesh said in a statement.

Decathlon handed over these face masks to Dhaka North City Corporation Mayor Md Atiqul Islam, and the Additional Inspector General of Dhaka Industrial Police, Abdus Salam (PPM) in the respective workplace. Decathlon thanked them for receiving the masks in person.

Decathlon Sports Bangladesh also showed their gratitude towards the people who helped to make this happen by saying, “Congratulations to all teammates and suppliers who were involved in making this donation happen. We are proud that you continue being useful to people and our planet!”

Decathlon S.A. is a French sporting goods retailer. With over 1,500 stores in 49 countries, it is the largest sporting goods retailer in the world. Decathlon opened the store in Bangladesh and started operating on July 12, 2019.
