1500 people died due to COVID-19 in Bangladesh

The official death toll from coronavirus in Bangladesh has exceeded one and a half thousand. The death toll from the coronavirus in Bangladesh has risen to 1,502 with 36 more people dying in 24 hours till 8 am on Monday.

In the last 24 hours, another 3,480 people have been infected. The number of identified patients in the country so far stands at 11506 people.

According to the IEDCR, 1,678 patients have been cured in the last 24 hours, out of the patients admitted to the hospital and treated at home. With this, the number of healthy patients stood at 46,755.

Additional Director General Professor Nasima Sultana on Monday joined the regular bulletin of the Department of Health to provide the latest information on the coronavirus situation in the country.
