Islami Bank’s Rajshahi zone business development conference held

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited’s Rajshahi Zone Special Virtual Business Development Conference was held on Tuesday 16 June. The program organized online.

The bank’s managing director and CEO. Mahbub-ul-Alam addressed the conference as the chief guest. Additional Managing Director Muhammad Munirul Maula, Muhammad Kaiser Ali and Md. Omar Farooq Khan addressed the conference as special guests.

Rajshahi Zone Head Md. Kausar Ul Alam presided over the conference, and all branch heads of the zone participated with him. Expressing satisfaction with the overall business activities and progress of the zone, the conference directed to continue the trend of success.

Md. Speaking as the chief guest, Mahbub-ul-Alam said that mankind is going through the most difficult time unimaginable. Even in these difficult times, Islami Bank has been conducting its banking activities in line with the national policy. He expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for his sincere, timely, and prudent decision from the very beginning of the current situation to keep the level of damage at a low level. He thanked all the officials of Bangladesh Bank including the Governor for giving timely direction to the banking sector.

He said the purpose of the conference was to determine the strategies to be followed by the bankers at the field level in this time of crisis to ensure their livelihood. He said Islami Bank is working for the overall development of the country through human welfare and the improvement of living standards.

Mahbub-ul-Alam called upon all to bring welfare-oriented modern banking services to the doorsteps of the people through the expansion of Islamic Banking.
