Anti-racism protests across Germany

Thousands of people demonstrated in 25 German cities on Saturday, June 6, in solidarity with the ongoing movement against racism and police violence in the United States and against racism in Germany.

From Berlin, Hamburg, Hanover, Bremen, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich, Stuttgart, Mannheim, Karlsruhe, Leipzig, Goethengen, Bielefeld, Osanabrook, Magdeburg, thousands of people arrive in the city on Saturday morning, Rostock, Dresd.

According to the organizers of the protests in various cities on Saturday, the number of protesters turned out to be many times higher than the estimated number of protesters in the permit letter to the authorities.

A maximum of 15,000 people gathered in Alexander Square in Berlin, 9,000 in Hamburg, 8,500 in Hanover and 6,000 in Frankfurt. Many protesters have been on their knees in protest of the way George Floyd was killed in Minneapolis, USA.

Speakers in various cities called for an end to police violence in the United States and an end to violence against Afro-Americans. They say we are not against the United States, but against the country’s racist practices and practices. Many speakers refer to the President of the United States as the head of world racism.

Criticizing racism and right-wing groups in Germany, he remarked that it was the right-wing parties that were spreading racism in Germany.
