Vivo ranks fifth in the world smartphone market

As Coronavirus hit the global economy, the sales of the many business organizations are decreased and many companies have stopped their production. Though global smartphone sales fell down, Vivo made a record shipments and listed within the top five smartphone brands round the world. Vivo returned to the peak five smartphone with magnificent market share, sales and rate of growth and secured the third position within the 5G mobile market.

Latterly, International Data Corporation (IDC) has unveiled this information. As stated by the report, Samsung is now at the peak of the world market with a 21.1 % share. While vivo is fifth with 9 percent stock. Moreover, Apple, Huawei and Xiaomi are within the list.

As Vivo has shipped 2.9 million units of 5G phones in 2020, it’s named after Samsung and Huawei within the 5G phone market. As stated by the Strategy Analytics report, at present, 5G smartphones demand is increasing worldwide, so its shipments have exceeded 25 million within the world market and currently, China has the most demand for 5G phones.

Recently, in India, Samsung has been overtaken by Vivo and become the second-largest brand in India, which is that the second-largest smartphone market within the world.

During the COVID-19 crisis, Vivo is managing its services through the hotline. Online sales are happening. The warranty period has also been extended for the convenience of the buyers.
