THE BODY SHOP launches second store in Bangladesh

Celebrating its second year of operations in Bangladesh, The Body Shop, the original, British-born, ethical cosmetics brand, has extended their retail footmark in the country by opening their second outlet at Bashundhara City. The outlet is located within easy access in ground floor at Bashundhara City Shopping complex, marking the widespread appeal of a brand that has become Bangladesh’s most trusted in skincare and beauty over a short span of time. The Body Shop is the exclusive partner of Quest Holdings Bangladesh.

Famous for its pioneering use of natural ingredients in high-quality cosmetic and toiletry products and its ethical conscience, The Body Shop is a truly global brand with over 3,200 stores. Bangladesh is The Body Shop’s 70th global market. The brand has just completed its first anniversary in the country. On this occasion, Shriti Malhotra, Managing Director, The Body Shop Bangladesh said, “We are extremely pleased to open another store in Bangladesh. The Body Shop Bangladesh has received a great response from the customers and we urge everyone to come over to our new store to discover the unique shopping experience and be a part of our campaigns and initiatives. The Body Shop has been a pioneer in global beauty landscape since we started out and our customers have really backed our unique 100% Vegetarian and ethically sourced products as well as our outlook of business as a force for good. As we expand our business here, we are immensely grateful to every single one of our customers who have made this milestone a reality and stood by us for our values, our products and the way we do business differently.”

In Bangladesh, The Body Shop has opened its flagship retail store on Jamuna Future Park in 2018. Although it has been over a year since the first Body Shop stored has opened in Bangladesh, the brand remains fresh in the market due to the exciting product ranges and campaign for every season. The Body Shop Bangladesh stores have a wide range of product across Skincare, Bath and Body, Cosmetics, Hair, Fragrance, Gifts, Accessories, and many more. Customers can also seek for free recommendations on skincare and cosmetics from their trained sales representatives. Both outlets stock a wide variety of the brand’s most iconic product lines, such as the Tea Tree range, Expert Facial Masks, Vitamin E range, Drops of Youth and Drops of Light and a wide range of Limited-edition bath and body and make up suitable for Bangladesh nationals. In addition, these outlets stock the newest arrivals on shelves in line with their global release dates.

On top of it, the customers can become a member of a unique reward program of The Body Shop Bangladesh, known as ‘Love Your Body Club’. Loyalty members will receive special privileges, reward points, and members’ only discounts. They will also get a 10% discount on all MRP purchases at The Body Shop retail stores for one full year from the date of becoming a member.
Customers can shop with a clean conscience: the brand remains as committed as ever to it’s founding mission of ethical skincare, petitioning globally to cease the testing of cosmetics products on animals in laboratories through their ‘Forever Against Animal Testing’ campaign. In addition, all Body Shop products are 100% vegetarian and animal cruelty free.
