Group art exhibition titled ‘Mrinmoy Bangla’ at Gallery Cosmos

fifteen-day long group art exhibition titled ‘Mrinmoy Bangla’ by artist Juton Chandra Roy, Suman Kumar Sarkar, Kamruzzoha and Maneek Bonik on 07th September 2018, Friday, 5:30 pm at Gallery Cosmos.

Whenever we think about Bangladesh, she comes with a view of paradise formed on alluvial land. The first lesson of Art here is based on rich and open nature. Here the contemporary artists start their career by painting nature. The colorful canvas of the artists here is knitted with water and soil.

Contemporary artist Juton Chandra Roy, Mohammad Kamruzzoha, Manik Banik, Sumon Kumar Sarkar has tried to find out the conventional Bangla in their paintings. They have characterized fresh everlasting green nature with their watercolor. Artist Jhuton Chandra Roi has tried to find his nostalgia in the midst of old town of Dhaka. Artist Kamruzzoha has found out the typical life of rural nature of Bangladesh. He has made his creation on the busy dawn and lazy dusk of the village life. Artist Manik Banik has tried to find out a story of rural area in the fields, street and meadows. And the picture of the ethnic Sawtal village will be found in the canvas of artist Sumon Kumar Sarkar. Though they have used transparent watercolor of the west, the view and scenery they created would take us to the typical rural Bangla.

H.E. Miss Panpimon Suwannapongse, Ambassador of Thailand to Bangladesh will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Eminent Artist Kalidas Karmakar will be present as the Guest of Honour.
