J.K. Rowling explains why failure is a good thing

Rejection after rejection stood in the way of one woman and her dream. With a divorce in the works, a child to care for, and absolutely no money, the doubts and fears young J.K. Rowling had made her goal of becoming a well-known author seem out of reach.

Despite countless setbacks, J.K. Rowling published a beautiful fantasy that has been read by billions all over the world. She took the trials that had come with grace and continued to fight for her dream.

In her fantastic speech at the Harvard Commencement she shares, “You will never truly know yourself, or the strength of your relationships until both have been tested by adversity.”
