Gulf Air Hosts Al Noor international school student visit

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, recently welcomed 25 Al Noor International School students participating in an educational visit to the airline’s headquarters in Muharraq.

The students enjoyed a tour of Gulf Air’s premises, an overview of Bahrain’s national carrier’s corporate culture and operations, a site visit to Gulf Air’s dedicated museum and an interactive discussion on the national carrier’s history in Bahrain and the region. Student feedback following the one-day visit was overwhelmingly positive as all participants spoke of the value of increasing awareness of Gulf Air and its integral role in Bahrain and the aviation industry as a whole.

As the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and an integral national infrastructure asset Gulf Air prides itself on having a special connection with the Bahraini community, and is involved in various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives with a number of local organizations. The airline continues to give back to the community through activities such as sponsoring events, supporting charities and local initiatives and raising awareness of various environmental and social causes.

Md. Rafiuzzaman Sifat, a CSE graduate turned into journalist, works at News Hour as a staff reporter. He has many years of experience in featured writing in different Bangladeshi newspapers. He is an active blogger, story writer and social network activist. He published a book named 'Se Amar Gopon' inEkushe boi mela Dhaka 2016. Sifat got a BSc. from Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology, Bangladesh. He also works as an Engineer at Bangla Trac Communications Ltd. As an avid traveler and a gourmet food aficionado, he is active in publishing restaurant reviews and cutting-edge articles about culinary culture.
