Gulf Air delegation visit patients at muharraq geriatric hospital

Gulf Air, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier, has once again rolled out a series of tailored initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan, reaching out to the local community. Mr Mohammed Amin Hulaiwah, Gulf Air Director Corporate Affairs & Communications Board Secretary, along with members of the airline’s workforce, recently visited Muharraq Geriatric Hospital where, with Muharraq Geriatric Hospital’s Manager Mr. Hassan Faraj, they toured various wards, distributing gifts and wishing the elderly patients good health and wellness.

During the visit, Mr. Hulaiwah stressed the importance of embracing the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan and its teachings in support of this integral segment of the local community while Faraj expressed his thanks, on behalf of the hospital’s administration, for the airline’s warm gesture.

Gulf Air is involved in a number of corporate social responsibility initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan including network-wide iftars and community engagement activities and local initiatives such as the airline’s weekly iftar meal box distribution at busy junctions of the Kingdom around al Maghreb prayer time. In addition, the airline designs a special iftar menu served onboard its flights during Ramadan to cater to Muslim passengers’ needs when breaking their fast.
