Air New Zealand unveils new Hamilton lounge

News Hour:

Air New Zealand will today welcome customers into its newly refurbished lounge at Hamilton Airport.

Situated on the upper floor over the boarding gates, the new-look space boasts prime views of the runway and surrounding farmland.

With 55 percent more seating, the new lounge offers a variety of seating options to suit customers’ needs. A business zone, café seating and self-service food and drink stations are all part of the versatile new package.

Air New Zealand General Manager Customer Experience Carrie Hurihanganui says it is an exciting step in developing the regional flying experience.

“We’re confident the variety of amenities and sleek new look will further enhance the lounge experience for our customers travelling out of Hamilton.”

The Hamilton lounge refurbishment forms part of Air New Zealand’s four year $100 million lounge network development programme and follows on from the opening of new lounges in Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney and Invercargill.
