Taking banquetting events to new heights at four seasons hotel ritz lisbon

News Hour:

Those who have been to Lisbon already know that Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon boasts absolutely unique banquet and conference rooms, as well as an elegant terrace overlooking Eduardo VII Park – perfect for the city’s 280 days of average yearly sunshine.

Most of the Hotel’s function spaces are bathed in natural light and offer the flexibility to accommodate gatherings for anywhere between 10 and 1,000 people, representing the region’s largest offer. There is something for everyone. And now, to complement these distinctive offerings, and elevate banqueting and events to new heights, Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon has launched a range of new services, accompanied by five new kits dedicated to both on and off-site meetings and events, decoration, local gifts and catering menus designed by the Executive Chef that deliver a genuine gourmet experience. Organising events has never been easier.

All kits can be accessed on Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon website.

These kits offer clients access to the wealth of knowledge and talented expertise of the Hotel’s Events & Banqueting team to help create the perfect event. Each kit is uploaded online and always up-to-date, eliminating the need to send clients large pdf attachments. The documents are intuitive and appealing with abundant pictures, descriptive text and useful information such as venue capacity or menu prices.

The Conferences & Banqueting kit showcases the Hotel’s unique venues. Clients can begin to imagine hosting their event on the outside terrace overlooking Eduardo VII Park, a gala event in the Pedro Leitão Ballroom boasting grand crystal chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling windows, or a more intimate meeting in the Hotel’s oak-paneled former game room, for instance. The Conferences & Banqueting menu is available in both English and Portuguese.

Also available in English and Portuguese, the Outside Catering kit allows clients to dream up a one-of-a-kind event bringing legendary Four Seasons service to some of Lisbon’s most emblematic venues. The Catering team has selected some of the city’s finest locations, from 15th century convents and 17th century riverfront palaces to UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and event organisers can browse photos and embedded videos that will make them feel like they attended the events themselves.

Rita Correia, Assistant Food & Beverage Director at Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon, recalls an event the Hotel recently organised in the heart of the city, in a medieval convent that was ruined during the 1755 Lisbon earthquake and was left roofless. “Our guests were in awe. There is no other place in the world like it. And with our fine-dining menu, décor and musical entertainment – it was simply perfect! The weather also helped.”

The intuitive Catering kit (English and Portuguese) brings together Executive Chef Pascal Meynard’s menu offerings for events at the Hotel as well as outside. The top navigation of the kit guides clients through endless possibilities from coffee breaks to high tea, dinner and cocktails, and each page is accompanied by photos of the relevant dishes to facilitate choice.

The Decoration kit (English and Portugese) is almost a “conversation starter,” allowing the Hotel to help clients find the best option for their event by proposing a selection of inside and outside furniture, superior linens, cutlery, china and glassware, bars, as well as flower decoration. It is aimed at helping clients picture their event in the style of their choice, or in accordance with a specific theme, be it for a conference for 400 attendees, or an informal gathering with beach chairs, for instance, or a gala dinner for 200 guests.

Finally, the Local Gifts kit offers a selection of original gifts for event participants. Each of the Hotel’s Portuguese gifts has a unique story to tell, and clients can choose from ceramic sardines – a true icon of Lisbon -or Azulejo table mats, colourful cork laptop sleeves, traditional filigree jewelry, Portuguese luxury soap gift boxes and more.
