Choice Hotels announces the expansion of the Cambria hotels & suites brand in North Charleston, SC

Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH), one of the world’s largest hotel companies, announced it has signed an agreement with franchise partner SpringBridge Development LLC and management partner Raines Hospitality, to develop a new Cambria hotel & suites in North Charleston, SC. The 124-room Cambria property will be located just ten minutes from Charleston International Airport, at the southeast corner of Eagle Landing Boulevard and Rivers Avenue.

Slated to open in late 2017, the Cambria hotel & suites North Charleston is located in a thriving community with parks, gardens and historical sites, as well as some of the area’s premier cultural attractions including museums, theaters and art galleries. Hotel guests will have numerous dining, shopping and entertainment options as the hotel will be within walking distance to the Northwoods Mall and North Rivers Marketplace.

Designed as a business travel and leisure brand, all Cambria hotels & suites feature a larger lobby to give guests a more social atmosphere; oversized rooms with flexible spaces; and the latest technology that allows guests to stay connected while they travel.

Like all Cambria hotels & suites, the North Charleston property will feature other fine amenities such as a contemporary bistro, Social Circle™, serving a menu comprised of local specialties created by Chef Michael DeMaria; liquor, wine, beer and freshly prepared grab-and-go gourmet salads and sandwiches; and a barista bar. This property will also boast a large meeting space, an indoor swimming pool and a fitness center.
