Mums and children shop at the Paris Bastille Boutet

News Hour:

The building that once housed a sawmill then a chocolate factory, and now houses the first 5-star hotel in eastern Paris, still has a few surprises in store. In the build-up to Mother’s Day, the Paris Bastille Boutet and videdressing.com have teamed up to hold the first luxury-garment garage sale for mums and their children, in association with Milkmagazine. This event, #MyMument, will take place from 3 pm to 7 pm on May 22, and provide shoppers with plenty of opportunities to find amazing bargains for themselves and their kids. Some of the garments are affordably priced, others are designer exclusives, and they have all been handpicked with care by Milk magazine’s editorial staff and videdressing.com.
Five women bloggers will also have a stand featuring one-of-a-kind garments, and the program for the afternoon includes a choice of creative workshops – on customizing tote bags, manicure and DIY – to entertain the kids. The hotel will provide sweet and savory snacks including Good detoxing juices, and visitors will be welcome to enjoy the two rooftop gardens. To wrap up the day in style, a mother and daughter tandem will win a pampering time for two at the hotel’s magnificent Décléor spa. So don’t miss it!
